How voice actors deliver takes is still, in too many threads, a WeTransfer of every raw and a chase for the fee. Each hop is a place a producer stalls, or walks away with the session as the first listen. Session delivery should be one door they already have open.

This is the year of jobs: a slate, selected takes, raws, a pickup. Musicians have the stem cousin. Podcasters have the bonus cousin. This page is the booth. Spike can be that URL.

Why sessions still leak before they pay

  • A full raw dump in the first drop is already the session.
  • A new editor asks in week six. The transfer is gone.

How this looks on a year of sessions

Slate

A treated listen in the unpaid view. Not every take. If the session fee is still due, put the price on that URL. Get paid before sending files. A slate should prove the room and the voice. It should not be the commercial.

Raw session

Pickups
