How fashion designers deliver lookbooks and line sheets in 2026

Labels still mail a lookbook PDF, then a Drive of tech packs, then a third set when the buyer is new. Line sheet delivery in 2026 is one URL: a look they can judge, a price if they owe you, the pack the factory can open in month four.

How fashion designers deliver line sheets is still, in too many seasons, a lookbook in mail and a Drive of every spec. Each hop is a place a buyer stalls, or a factory gets wholesale numbers as the first look. Season delivery should be one door they already have open.

This is the year of jobs: a lookbook, a line sheet, a tech pack, a press set. Designers have the brand-kit cousin. Photographers have the lookbook stills. This page is the rail. Spike can be that URL.

A look they can judge. The sheet and the tech pack wait on the same rail.

Why line sheets still split

  • A full tech pack in the first drop is already the factory order.
  • A new buyer asks in month four. The transfer is gone.
  • A shared drive shows every season next to this one.
  • The deposit is unpaid, and the SKUs already left.

How this looks on a year of seasons

Lookbook

A treated look in the unpaid view. Not every measurement. Password the door if the book is not public. If a lookbook fee or deposit is still due, put the price on that URL. Share design files and get paid. Stills can follow how photographers deliver photos.

Line sheet

SKU, colour, wholesale: name the file for humans. A contents note. Replace a revised row in place. The URL does not change. If a store and a showroom should not see the same prices, use two folders.

Tech pack

The factory will ask twice. Leave the link up on Pro or Business. Free shares last three days, which is not a production clock. Keep buyer prices off the factory door. Measurements and construction notes belong here.

Press set

A dated pack of stills and credits. Editors fetch the same URL. You are not rebuilding a smash because a magazine is late. Say what they may publish. The rest of the season stays packed.

Look, SKU, wholesale. The rail is the look. The sheet unlocks after checkout or approval.

  1. Put this season in one folder

Lookbook, line sheet, tech packs you mean to issue. Nothing from last AW.

  2. Decide the unpaid view

Looks and scenes. Not the full sheet if a deposit is due.

  3. Price it if they still owe you

The label payment link is the folder. When checkout completes, the same URL is the pack.

Spike takes 5% on Free, 1% on Pro, 0% on Business, from the payout. Stripe's card fee still applies. Sharing can stay free when the deposit already cleared. A live season belongs on Pro or Business. How designers deliver brand files is the lockup sister. Keep the PLM for the workbench. The buyer does not need a seat there to fetch the sheet.

If they can see the look, they should be able to take the sheet without joining your factory Drive.

Good to know

Put the lookbook, line sheet, and tech packs in one folder. Let them preview a look. If money or a deposit is still due, take payment on that page. Unlock the buyer pack on the same URL.
